This series of work is informed by life experience, as we
are all trying to navigate our personal path between light and darkness.

Our daily life is an embroidery in which we weave our
nostalgy, our hopes, the hurdles we have to jump. We have to weave in threads
we did not plan to include, such as unexpected events and circumstances. We do
our best, we hope for the best.

In terms artistic choices, such a quest is expressed by the use
of contrasted dark and light colours, an intricate composition of detailed intertwined lined and colour planes,
multi-layered mixed media technics and finally the added element of rough
stitching of raw linen thread.
